Los Angeles – E! Entertainment Television announced a third season pick – up for its half – hour reality series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” The series takes viewers back behind – the – scenes of one of Hollywood’s most talked about families. The second season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which aired this spring on E!, ranked as the number one original series among women 18 – 34 in its premiere Sunday night timeslot against all other ad – supported cable networks. The series scored its most – watched telecast ever on May 4, 2008 averaging over 1.7 million total viewers. Season three will debut first quarter 2009. “E! viewers have embraced the Kardashian family and the series has become one of television’s most talked about shows,” said Lisa Berger, executive vice president, Original Programming and Series Development for E! “There is never a shortage on drama and we are certain the new season will be another wild ride.”
