Bangkok – CNBC is partnering with The Nation, to distribute CNBC Asia Pacific’s SMS services in Thailand. The content will be distributed on three of Thailand’s major service providers – AIS, TRUE and DTAC. And the CNBC WAP site will be distributed by Thailand’s biggest provider, AIS. CNBC Asia Pacific is working closely with The Nation to localize business and financial news content for mobile distribution in Thailand. Subscribers to AIS, TRUE and DTAC are able to access regional and global, business and financial SMS content produced by CNBC Asia Pacific, as well as local business and financial SMS news produced by The Nation. The Nation will also be translating CNBC’s English content into Thai. CNBC Asia Pacific has also launched the CNBC Mobile WAP site in Thailand. The Basic WAP site will be accessible by subscribers of AIS, the Prime WAP site will be available exclusively on AIS for the first three months.
