Toronto – Breakthrough Entertainment has secured broadcast sales of over 500 hours of programming its factual catalogue. Medical drama series Little Miracles (65 x 30’) was sold to broadcasters in Korea, the Middle East and Sweden adding to the 180 territories which have licensed the show. Entertainment series Outdoor Journal (35 x 30’) has been acquired by broadcasters in the Middle East, Turkey and Russia; War of the Wheels (12 x 60’) was licensed to Discovery (Germany), as well as broadcasters in Russia and Canada, adding to previous sales to MBC, Discovery Asia, National Geographic Channel, and F/X Channel. Crime Stories (48 x 60) was picked up by broadcasters in Turkey and Poland, as well as Germany’s Telecast and Sweden’s TV4 (Sweden). Disasters of the Century (42 x 60’) was acquired by broadcasters in Greece and Turkey; Very Odd Jobs (26 x 30’) was licensed in Turkey; and Europa Mystery of the Ice Moon (1 x 60) was picked up in Germany. Lifestyle series Manic Organic (13 x 30’) was acquired by broadcasters in Hungary, Russia, Israel and South Africa; Design Match (13 x 30’) was licensed to broadcasters in South Africa and Kuwait; season one of Plastic Makes Perfect (26 x 30’) was picked up in Israel and by Poland’s POLSAT in Poland; and What’s for Dinner (525 x 30’) has been sold to Russia. Historical and war series including The Secret Liberators (1 x 60’) was acquired in Russia and Uganda Rising (1 x 60’) was sold to the History Channel (UK).
