London – Independent producer, Hardy & Sons, will re-launch as a new production company in partnership with Left Bank Pictures and BBC Worldwide. BBC Worldwide and Left Bank each hold a 15% stake in the JV, with the remaining 70% held by Hardy & Sons owner and Creative Director, Justin Hardy. The new venture is yet to be named and will focus on producing drama and documentary, drawing on Left Bank’s expertise in contemporary drama and film, and Hardy & Sons forte for historical drama and documentary. BBC Worldwide will distribute the output through its global sales network and co production relationships to secure commercial revenues.
