Kuala Lumpur- Measat Satellite Systems Sdn. Bhd. has furthered its partnership with Pacific Century Matrix (PCM), provider of satellite-based television broadcast solutions, with an agreement inked for Indus Media Group to distribute MTV Pakistan and Indus Vision via the MEASAT-3 satellite. This follows the announcement on October 10 that South Asian channels Filmazia and Filmax have migrated to the full transponder MCPC broadcast platform on MEASAT-3. According to Johnny Ng, PCM’s Director of Broadcast Sales responsible for the South Asian market, the company’s Pakistani bouquet customers have all migrated their channels to MEASAT-3. Ghazanfar Ali, Chairman, Indus Media Group, said “It gives me great pleasure that two of our TV Channels, Indus Vision and MTV Pakistan are on the MEASAT platform. I am certain MEASAT-3 will give us enhanced coverage and quality, which will go towards satisfying the discerning Pakistani TV viewers.”
