Hong Kong- Ron Kamnuanthip will join Universal Music Thailand as General Manager, effective Sept. 5. Based in Bangkok, he will report to Sandy Monteiro, Senior Vice-President of Universal Music Group International (ASEAN). Kamnuanthip will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s daily operations and will lead the team to develop domestic and international business strategies as well as to strengthen media and corporate alliances. Kamnuanthip replaces Phil Murphy, interim head of Universal Music Thailand for the past 10 months. Kamnuanthip, Murphy and Monteiro will work on the transition before resuming his role as consultant to Max Hole, President of Universal Music Group International, Asia Pacific. Kamnuanthip was formerly Managing Director for marketing agency PPW Thailand.
