Sydney- The History Channel Australia will present the world premiere of the documentary Visions of Leadership on September 7 at 7.30 pm EST. The producers, Georgia Carnegie and Karin Puels, say they have secured interviews with most of the dignitaries who will be in Sydney for three days in September at the 2007 APEC Leaders Conference. Among those who’ve agreed to participate are President Bush, Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive Donald Tsang, Australian Prime Minister John Howard, Indonesia’s Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Korea’s Roh Moo-hyun, Malaysia’s Ahmed Badawi, the Philippines’ Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Thailand’s Surayud Chulanont and Vietnam’s Nguyen Minh Triet. The producers promise there will be “no politics and no issues of the day, just warmth and open conversation about the nature of leadership.” Also featured will be footage from the state rooms inside the White House, the cultural treasures inside the Blue House in Seoul, and the Malacanang Palace in Manila.
