Hong Kong – Star has hired Anthony Day as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Development, a new role which makes him responsible for expanding the scale and scope of Star’s core broadcasting activities. Day will also work with Star’s regional offices in managing its portfolio of joint ventures. Based in Hong Kong, he reports to CEO Paul Aiello. Day joined Star last November as a consultant, facilitating expansion initiatives in South East Asia. Previously he was General Counsel of the Hong Kong-based, Singapore-listed Noble Group, a global trading house.
