Kuala Lumpur- MSC Malaysia’s Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) has stepped up efforts to promote Malaysia-produced content to the international market with its Buyer Fly-In Program (BFP), a three-day networking event which commenced on August 22 as 20 potential content buyers from around the world were flown into Kuala Lumpur to meet with Malaysian content providers. Delegates in attendance represented 6 Hong Kong-based companies China Digital Entertainment Alliance, Moffy Ltd, Mobile Telecom Network (Holdings) Ltd, Bubble Mon Licensing (International) Ltd, Cine Century Entertainment Co. Ltd Ace Hero Films & Entertainment Co. Ltd; Thai company Imagimax Co. Ltd; Singaporean company MediaFreaks Pte. Ltd; Korean company Sun Min Image Pictures Co. Ltd; as well as 8 US-based firms and one firm each from Ireland, Belgium and Hungary. In addition to a series of networking meetings with Malaysian content providers, the delegates will tour the MSC Malaysia Innovation Center in Cyberjaya and attend a ‘Creative Knowledge Sharing Session’ by Kevin Eastman, President of Kevin Eastman Studios, Inc and Metal Mommoth, Inc, as well as Joe
