Sydney- Evidently unaffected by the decision by parent company EM.Sport Media (formerly EM.TV) to sell its children’s and family entertainment divisions, Flying Bark Productions (formerly Yoram Gross- EM.TV) is ploughing ahead with CGI animated co-productions. Its slate includes Master Raindrop, a 26-part CGI and 2D animation action/adventure/comedy produced with New Zealand’s Flux Animation Studio, Singapore’s Big Communications and Media Development Authority of Singapore; and Zigby, a CGI animated 52 x 10 minute series based on HarperCollins popular literary character Zigby, a zebra who trots into trouble, produced in partnership with Big Communications and Thunderbird Films (Canada). Zigby, which will be distributed internationally by EM.Entertainment GmbH, will air on Australia’s ABC and Canada’s Treehouse TV in 2008. Flying Bark Productions has completed the 52-part CGI pre-school series Dive Ollie Dive with Mike Young Productions, and action/comedy Staines Down Drains (26 episodes), with Flux Animation Studio and German public broadcaster ZDF.
