Hong Kong– The Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2007, organized by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) will be held July 21 at the Hong Kong Colesium. The slogan for this year’s pageant is “Witnessing the 10th Anniversary of the Handover with Your Beauty”. After the June 2 telecast of the special program Miss Hong Kong: A Beautiful Encounter, 12 beauties were chosen from the 24 short-listed candidates. In addition, there are four from overseas: Vancouver, San Francisco and Las Vegas. All 16 contestants have been through a series of grooming programs organized by TVB to prepare for the pageant. Last week they shot segments in Tianjin and Beijing.
