FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has announced appointments and promotions within its ancillary rights business across Asia Pacific as part of its growth in the region. Malti Peplow takes the newly created position of Director, Sponsorship & Interactive, Asia, responsible for exploiting regional brands including Indonesian Idol, Singapore Idol, Indian Idol, The Price Is Right, Family Feud and The Mission across consumer products, telephony and voting, live events, interactive and wireless as well as sponsorship. She will also drive development of advertiser-funded TV and digital programmes, roll-out participation TV and establish a gaming and lottery licensing business in the region. Based in Singapore, she reports to Jon Penn, Vice President – Asia Pacific, who is based in Sydney. Peplow joins from MTV Networks Asia Pacific, where she was Senior Manager, Content & Production – Regional Digital Media, responsible for the execution and delivery of digital content for MTV, Nickelodeon and VH1.
