Hong Kong– Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Limited (AsiaSat) was selected as ‘Satellite Communications Service Provider of the Year in Asia Pacific’ by global growth consulting company Frost & Sullivan at its annual Asia Pacific ICT Awards Banquet held in Singapore on June 15. This award recognizes the satellite communications operator based on its performance in 2006, evaluated on the basis of revenue growth, market acceptance and adoption of services, service portfolio, and service innovation and value added offerings by a panel of judges comprising senior executives from the Asia Pacific ICT industry, analysts and media.
