Sydney-The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) on April 12 launched Andrew’s Guide to Being a Man, an interactive, cross-platform comedy series available as Video on Demand at abc.net.au/andrewsguide and on ABC2, the pubcaster’s only free-to-air digital channel. Developed and financed by Queensland’s Pacific Film and Television Commission with the ABC and produced by Brisbane’s Boilermaker Pty Ltd, the 13 x 3 minute episodes are rolling out online over 13 weeks. Audiences can visit the Andrew’s Guide to Being a Man site for guidance on dealing with the demands of being a bloke in the modern world, and advice on relationships, mateship, men’s health, break-ups, hangovers, being a pregnant dad, dealing with idiots, and more.
